I'm converting a drum to disc. These are a few of the things I found.

On a disc front end:
The fork tube covers are longer.
The shock top caps are different. This can be over come using Greg's FAC
install method.
The rear fender brace is different. It has a funky bend.
The axle spacer is slightly longer. I will measure this and post it in the
next couple of days.

Your conversion should also include a larger diameter , like a T3 , brake
reservoir. Greater braking power with less effort.

Has anyone added a second disc? Can you use a T3 wheel without any other
modifications? I remember seeing someone selling a spacer for the front
wheel to add a second disc. It was expensive.

I wanted better dampers on my disc-brake Eldo, so I spent a little time
this weekend figuring out a way to fit the FAC dampers to it. After a
few false starts, it worked, and fork action is vastly improved. At the
same time, I made a pre-load spacer for the springs, and gained some
extra ground clearance.

It's a bit of work, but it can all be done with files, hacksaw, drill
press, and one tap. Also, this method looks like it could be an easy
way to convert a drum-brake loop to disc brakes.

If anybody's interested, I can write up how it was done.

GF
