Tom-
wow... well, when i got the V700 last year, i put about a pint of atf into
each cylinder and let it set a month or so. still stuck. sprayed a whole can
of pb-blaster into each cyl. waited months. still stuck finally pulled the
engine, dropped the pan, and un-did the rod bolts, then yanked the cyl.s rt.
one looked like new- left one has typical loose chrome and nasty growth on
piston top. beat the bloody hell out of the piston [it now has a flat top]
:>) and it will not budge. freaking weird! never seen it before, either.
tommorrow, i am gonna get out the torch! gotta rescue that innocent con-rod,
ya know!

I was interested to hear about the stuck motor. In just one month, I
have aquired three Guzzi engines, two 750's and one 850. They all spun
very easyly when I put a screwdriver to the the flywheel. One of the 750
motors is even missing a head!

Of course, none of them had a gallon of water in them...... or oil!
