Greg,
I can probably help you out with a right side cover (battery
cover. All I have is the later Ambo/Eldo type. I have an odd nuber of
spares - hopefully the odd one is a right side. Hope your bike is black!

Please send your address & I'll put it in the mail - no compensation
necessary.

my first accident. finally, after many years of riding, i got in a
wreck. i'm always a cautious rider, and thank god i was wearing
leather jacket and full face. at 9pm on saturday, riding with 2 other
riders (i was 3rd) came through a long sweeping "s" turn on an 2 lane
road in an industrial section of town. the guy in front of me overshot
the second curve, hit an embankment, sprayed gravel all over the road,
and went down. i was 40' or so behind him, started to swurve to miss,
but his bike was spinning, and popped into my way (maybe 15 feet ahead
of me at that point) gravel under my tire, which let loose and i went
down. hard. (at least i didn't hit the other rider). i was doing 45mph

at the time. broken collarbone. i knew it the instant i hit (loud bang

noise....). other rider has several broken ribs and lotsa road rash. i
was amazed that i lived and nothing serious (a broken collarbone as most

of you already probably know is a painful injury..) so anyways, it's
been a few days, and i took inventory of my ambo - gotta start getting
the busted pieces back together...if anyone has any of these parts for
sale/trade, let me know, as i'd like to get back on the horse as soon as

possible (hopefully my injury will heal in the next month or 2).
here's what is not repairable, and needs replacement, that i don't have
a spare of.....it's a 71 ambo..
headlight bucket
headlight trim ring
front fender chrome trim
front fender
fork lowers
front crash bar(right)
valve cover
side cover (right)
right muffler (mac whispertone)

please email if you have any of these parts, any help is appreciated.
thanks!

p.s. always wear your helmet......
