David:

Replace the Vista Cruise with a Twist Assist, and you can keep the
starter button.

Thanks to Dave W., and MG Classics, I now have a '74 Eldo Police
restored by Mark.

I am quite the salesman. All I had to do was detail the money and
labor
I put into my bike and compare it to the pittance Mark wanted for an
almost new disk '74.

Greg Field is right about the key vs. the button but something had to
go
to fit the Vista cruise. My bike is a Civvie Eldo and I have been
starting it with my left hand on the clutch and my right turning the
key. It helps that the bike has the dreaded Dyna (is there anything
finer?) ignition and is a real easy starter hot or cold.

On the shock absorber length I am on record as having SP dampers and
springs up front, 13" in the back. No flip-flopping.
