Hey Ted, I found the correct size hose at the auto parts store and ran
it down past the starter close to the ground. After a long hard run you
might see a drop of oil come off it. It is a breather for the crankcase
and puffs hot air while the motor is running. The black box is a
separator that allows oil mist to condense and drip back into the
crankcase instead of on your rear tire.
