Keith,
as many others have said, oil is not supposed to leak out there.
Maybe the oil has leaked from somewhere else and that's just where you can
see it?
-Check drain plug
-check to see if your trans was overfilled
- some people put a few cc's of lube in the boot area to keep things "moist"
and maybe the boot is starting to crack.
- make sure that the breather box and hoses are not leaking. Mine leaked oil
all over when I forgot to clamp one of the hoses to the breather and that
got oil all over, including driving from the swingarm boot.
