I have heard this over the past 16 years myself, but (there's always a
but isn't there) it has always been from a 'guy that knew a guy' that
said this is what happened. I've yet to meet someone who has said, "My
case busted after I increased my displacement". Some time back, Pete
Roper over at the WildGuzzi board expressed his experience/opinion with
regards to this so I'll search those archives and see what he had to
say. Not saying it can't/hasn't/won't happen just sharing what I've
heard.
