Loopers,
I'm having a pin striping kit done up for for the tank for those
do-it-yourselfers who like completing every aspect of their bike
building themselves. I should have the first sample on Friday and will
report back then on the quality. It will be very much like the Guzzi
emblems we can currently get from John Prusneck and various vendors on
eBay. It's a 2mil vinyl that is safe for clear coat and is easy to
apply. Simply peel off the backing, place in desired location, rub down
and peel away top layer. Stand back and admire your work! Kit will
include the pin striping on the sides and top of tank along with the
Eagles and a small logo at the top rear of the tank that says something
about oil in Italian. Once I get the sample I was take some digital
pictures and distribute to those interested. I should also have a price
on Friday. This is all being copied exactly from the original striping
on a tank I have. Should be much cheaper than trying to locate a worthy
painter who can do good pin striping. I will also be able to get it in
various colors. The sample will be in white.
