Make sure your choke cable isn't hung up. It happened to me once. The cable was not seated in the adjuster properly and cause one plug to drop out after 20 miles.

Hi Guy i been using the same Uni foam filters for 9 years . Clean em every year still work good and I`m using the old Chrome lined barrels on my Ambo !

Hi, all. I pulled my spark plugs to do a valve
adjustement, and the left plug was really fouled. It's
never been that way before. I checked the timing, and
it was not far off. I checked the setting of the idle
jet screw, and it was one and a half turns, which is
according to the book. I haven't dug into the carb
yet, but I noticed the Uni foam air filters look
pretty deteriorated. Do you think that might be the
cause of the problem? Perhaps dirty air is getting in?
Those of you that are not running the stock filter
box, what are you using for air filters, and how well
is it working for you?
