Just received my order from McMaster-Carr today (ordered 7pm
yesterday!). Ordered a pair of the nickel plated latches ($6 ea.) they
sell and it looks like they will adapt to the Wixom bags without too
much work. Not a direct replacement - a few new holes will need to be
drilled and the old ones filled. They may fit the trunk better. Tried
the key in my original latch and it worked! Let you know more about what
mods are needed when I prep my other set of Wixoms. Cheers,
