Ian,
send me your email. I think it's changed since I last contacted you. I
have photos of the tank that came with my Eldo that you won't believe. I
was at the sand blasters while the paint was peeling away to reveal a
swiss cheese situation. You honestly won't believe it. I realised to
continue would be the final death call for this tank and instructed the
blaster to finish the job. Obviously beyond repair so it became art. The
only thing holding the fuel in was the paint!

So, be careful if you decide to sand blast and begin with a lower
pressure at first until you see what's what. John's idea of a wire wheel
is a good one.
