Subject: jacking up the bike

I'm about ready to start doing all those things to my ambo I've been
putting off until it got cold. I would like to jack up the bike, using
the motocycle jack my staff gave me for christmas last year. It looks
like you would have to put the jack under the engine? Also anyone have
a louvered side cover for the right side they would sell or trade,
there's one on e-bay, already bid up over $50, jeez. Oh yeah, is there
a way to take a speedo apart without bending up the chrome ring or
busting the glass, or is there somewhere to get a new chrome ring. the
speedo works but the numbers and writing are real faded, it goes to
150mph, like it would go that fast without driving it off a cliff.
