<P>Looks like I can rule out that something is "wrong" with the bike as it was set up to run perfect for our Seattle summer and fall. I had not ridden for a couple weeks and as one person wrote, with the choke off after a mile or two it sputtered and backfired through the carbs. </P>
<P>I ran with the choke on till I got up to speed on the highway, but I have 30mm carbs with individual flip up levers and they are a bit hard to flip at 60 mph in the cold at night.</P>
<P>Fortunatly I am not dependent on the bike, just ride when it is not raining every so often to remember I am alive, and in the cold its like going to the dentist with no anesthetic, I do it to remind me I am alive.</P>
