Sorry guys...I tried to keep it short and didn't give enough
information in my original post. The bike is new to me and
I'm chekcing through the various systems. 15.4 volts seems
high to me as well, but this is the first Guzzi I've messed
with. I'll take a look at the Voltage Regulator and see
what I've got.

What would be an ideal voltage reading at speed? 13.8 -
14.3 or so?

Thanks.

Yeah, I thought that might be kinda high but he didn't
mention any problems
so I thought the reading might be off some...

That should be plenty of Volts to keep you charged...

What should the voltage at the battery read when the engine
is at
traveling speed. I'm showing 15.4 volts at 3800rpm.
Increasing the rpms
does not increase the voltage beyond 15.4 or so. Thanks.
