Yeah, the plugs were a bit gas fouled (maybe cause I sit there and cranked
it and adjusted things and cranked some more for so long) so I replaced them
as a precaution. I took apart one carb just to check things but it was
fine. I have cleaned and re-gasketed both carbs very recently and am using
fuel filters.

Did you have the carbs out and apart?
What color were the plugs when you pulled them?
Were the plugs wet?
