the peeling paint is only a problem with the 2002 machines. i have a 02 stone, and the paint is bubbling. but on the bright side, i am getting a free set of 40 liter hepco/becker hard bags! so i wouldnt worry about peeling paint ,unless you find a new 02 guzzi.

I've been looking at a V11 "Rosso Mandello" a guy in TX has and was wondering about the black coating on the engine. Anyone know what it is and if it has the peeling problems I've heard about with earlier colored guzzi engines? any info anyone has would be appreciated.
thanks
steve
