This sounds weird, but Johnson's Future floor polish works for me to stop newly polished/blasted aluminum from oxidizing. Doesn't crack or peel on the shiny stuff, doesn't change the finish on cast. Easy to apply, lasts for years.

 does anyone know of a treatment/product to slow/stop oxidization that
won't alter the bare metal apearance? i'm trying to retain the flat
white finish after sandblastng...
