Greg - thanks for the site link. The price on the
pseudo-CB200 is appealing.
Steve - I've had a CX500 and a CX650 (actually the GL
derivatives), and wasn't real happy with them. Thanks
for the thought, though.
Patrick - Sorry for the mispelling! My spelling is
rather poor no matter what language I am writing in.
Regarding the shift pattern, my Ambo shifts 1-up and
3-down, and my Convert doesn't shift at all, most of
the time. Unusual shift patterns are a way of life
around here. ;-) If Laura or Nate eventually decides
to downgrade to a newer bike, I think they will be
able to handle the adjustment OK. OTOH, dropping a
Falcone during lessons would be sad!

Oh, well, will see how things go. Maybe I should have
kept my '61 Simson Sport.
