I am planning to mount a solo seat. I see that MG has some nice ones.
Did anyone use a different model then the one available at MG?
I am checking Ebay and there are a lot available. Not sure what would
fit esthetically..

On my first Eldo, I bought the repro solo sprung seat from MG cycle. The
springs attached to the existing frame mounts, without the cups like the
original. My current Eldo has the solo mounted flush with the frame from
MG classics, and it too is comfortable, and sits lower. The MG Cycle
repro would occasionally bottom-out on rough patches, and I weigh-in at
around 170. Any heavier, and you might really feel it. The original
springer seats have much heavier springs (wound in two different
directions for right and left). Mark E., if you're reading this, do you
guys carry the "blonde" seats in stock?
