I put a small solo seat on my wife's Ambo, the bench seat was too tall
for her and this works just right. She's had 350 mile days on it with no

complaints. You can take a look at it here, may not be to everyone's
taste:

I used it since it was in a pile of chopper parts that I had laying
around for 20 years (I love it when that happens). It even says Made in
Italy on it somewhere. No frame modification, I just had to make a flat
bracket for the back and another for the front. Both brackets bolted to
existing holes in the frame.
I can email you more detailed pics if you like.

I am planning to mount a solo seat. I see that MG has some nice ones.
Did anyone use a different model then the one available at MG?
I am checking Ebay and there are a lot available. Not sure what would
fit esthetically..

I still can't get over how anyone could get comfortable on that li'l
bitty seat in the picture even though you explained it to me (although I
never got the picture I was expecting.... (;o) ) .

I have a solo seat off a Harley I had once, I mounted it on the Eldo in
place of the sprung police seat that's on it now, it looked the business
and it sat in a very nice (lower) riding position, but as the years have
gone by it's just not enough padding; two experienced Guzzisti both rode
it and pronounced it unsuitable for our large, 50+ year old selves. For
smaller, lighter types it's on Ebay now, item 4516151559 and apparently
going cheap (but that's the free market....)
