I was shown an Odyssey PC680 by a motorcycle restorer who swears by them.
He'e into loopframe Guzzi's and other brands Italian.

They are completely dry and can be mounted in any position without worry.
The 680 is narrow enough, 3 1/16 " to allow for added tool storage should
one decide to make use of the space.

When you look at the cost of corroded side covers and trashed chrome they're
a bargan at under $100 w/ shipping. Plus you're going to have to buy two
lead acid batteries to equal the 10 year life of the Odyssey. I plan to buy
one this spring for an Ambassador.

Anyone tried the Odyssey battery in their Loop?

I'm running a PC925MJT in my loop. The T in the number gives you
terminals which I bolted the original "pencil" terminals to.
Size is 6.7L x 7.1W x 5.1H. Flip it on it's side (5.1"). The terminals
with the OEM terminals bolted on, project back a ways but the power that
big brute puts out literaly has it running before I can get my finger
off the starter button.

Later.
