that's a neat idear, also rte.6 thru Pa. is just wonnerful, but it
would be a bit out of your way. of course, if ya did go that way, we
could meet up with ya somewhere. 6 west to 66 south to 8, or something....

The "Lincoln Highway", a.k.a. US 30 (and OLD US 30) across PA.
Take the slab to Gettysburg, get on US 30, try to stay on the old
highway (called 462 or something in places, if memory serves),
and re-live travel in pre-WWII America.
