One thing no one has mentioned is engine noise. I've got SS headers on my
V7. It's very noisy compared to a buddy's V7 that has chromed headers. The
SS headers are quite a bit thinner than the chromed steel headers. Also
stainless doesn't damper noise like steel.

I was planning on throwing a set of steel headers on this spring to see if
they make a difference. And yes my valves are set to factory spec.'s.

I'm thinking about replacing the head pipes on my Eldo.

Should I go for stainless or chrome? I'm thinking chrome, as that would
original. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
