I agree, whatI have heard with the 4 speeds are, if it ain't broke don't
f@#!k with it! I hear they are very complex and once they are
disassembled it is nearly impossible to get them back together correctly
the 1st time, perhaps the 4th or 5th would work!

Ok, so my trans has been sitting under the bench while I do an engine
rebuild. Lately it has started to stare me down, like it wants some
attention.

I've read Guzziology (leave the tranny alone), and I've read Pete Roper
(everyone should shim their gearbox). I realize Pete was talking about
a 5 speed, not a 4 speed. I'm sure some of you have experience with
this, do Pete Ropers 5 speed instructions work for the 4 speed?
