Maybe I'm missing something here, but it seems to me that these units,
at 160 watts output, are just over half of the output of the stock
generators (300 watts). What am I not getting?

looks like a trouble free conversion, they with the gen cover would look
stock. I hear they are expensive though

Several people in San Francisco are using these quite successfully on
old Guzzi singles like Falcone and GTV. You need to change all the
bulbs to 12v to complete the task. Very powerful output.
