 John,
Thanks, that's it! This list is such a help! Shame what the non-Guzzi folks are missing! I do have one other question for you....did you ever ride two up on the solo seat shown in your pics?
Nope, I'm 6'6", just enough room on that thing for me. That particular
solo seat came with the bike, so I kept it, it's pretty comfy.

I'm seriously thinking about changing my seat and I'm kinda undecided as to what to get, and still keep Laura happy on the back.
I find that an unbalanced rear tire will set up enough vibration to keep
female passengers happy and holding on tight.

The seat I have now is comfortable, but big and ugly!
Comfort goes a long way over style. With a solo seat the option is to
mount one of those square pads that attaches to the three points on the
rear of the frame, the PO had rigged a homemade one on the bike that was
junk. I imagine that with a little ingenuity you could mount another
solo seat there, BMW made them with a grab bar for passengers, for
example. Or go with the big stock bench seat.
Years ago I took the '68HD through the Blue Ridge mountains with a
sleeping bag strapped on the rear fender for my soon to be wife. I guess
it worked pretty well.
