I agree.
The hassle of setting up the paint booth/area, prep work, cleanup, time,
toxic fumes through out the house/garage, cost of materials.

Unless you do it the way the previous owner painted my Eldo......assembled.

i've found powdercoat to be significantly less expensive than
paint....but i send my paint out, so it's pricey..

I am building a low buck guzzi cafe racer and am almost ready to do the
frame work as soon as a weld on a bracket or two. I really done want to
spend the money on powder coating and was wondering what some of you guys
have used to paint your frames with. More than likley it will be done in
red. Has anyone tried to use imron ?
