I used the por15 rust preventive paint and then a top coat of Blackcote will
be applied to parts exposed to sunlight. The preventive paint is UV
sensitive and will discolor according to them. I used a brush and you could
see the brush strokes but then it all self leveled and is smooth like glass.

Hey Paul,
Do you remember which paint you used? Was it that
Hardnose stuff? Did you brush or spray it on your floorboard rails?

www.por15.com has coatings that are chip, scratch resistant and self
leveling so can be applied with a brush or sprayed on. I will be using
it on my police restoration. Have already used it on my floorboard rails
and it looks like powdercoating.
