Tom,

What do you mean, (too hot to ride)?? In the middle of January and its still
too hot.
Thats kind of like Mark E. not knowing what a snowflake is. He must be used
to other kinds of flakes. California, you know!

You southerners, are the classic "snow birds" from the snow belt.
Need I say more.

Hi all,

Well, yesterday after I got off work, I was driving(too hot to ride)my
truck towards the main street, when a flash od white went by.

OOH! Was it a Guzzi or a Beemer?? I hurried up to the stop sign and
made the right turn. No bike in sight, just the stop light ahead, red. I
got to the light and waited for the green. I knew he had made the light
and was just up ahead.

One half mile further, the next light was red. Aha! got him! got to the
light but did not see him. Must have missed him. Then, as the light
changed to green, I hear,'p--r-r-r-r-r-r-rrr. Alright! It IS a Guzzi,
and just two cars infront of me. As traffic for him flows, but doesn't
for me, I see up ahead he has changed lanes and now is on the inside
line. IF, traffic allows, I'll be able to pull up next to him. Traffic
doesn't allow, and I find myself in the same lane, running a little late
thru the light to try and catch him.

I change lanes and hope the light ahead is red for him. It is! but, I am
about one carlength behind. No worries. I toot my horn and he looks
back. I hold out my jacket which has a Guzzi patch on the back. He
waves, and I shout, "pull over after the light". He says 'o.k.', and
does so. I pull in behind him at a barbershop parking lot.

He, Frank, as I found out, is riding an unfamiliar to me, 72 Eldo with
lots of police goodies. He says he thought that he was the lone Guzzi
rider in town, and he is new to Guzzi. I gave him my card and a flier to
the 16TH Annual Arizona MGNOC Rally, April 29, 30, and May 1.(shameless
plug) I a;so told him of our monthly Guzzi breakfast. He was real glad
to meet another Guzzi-ist, but had to be on his way, as he was going
home after work as well.

Alright! I'll be signing him up to the MGNOC, and helping him with his
questions. Be looking for another looper on this list, soon!
