Just a suggestion, but you might want to soak those 'rubber' gaskets
in gasoline for a few days to see what happens to them. Easier to watch
them swell and fall apart in a jar on your workbench than on the side of
the road. Just a thought, 'cause it happened to me....

 Be advised....

There are two versoins of the Guzzi petcock.. The V700 are different
than Ambo/Eldo ones.. as I understand.

I got some rubber ones from a lister. Haven't put them in yet....

Hi Alan:

I've got a shop making me a bunch of teflon ones. They won't break down
like the rubber ones and are self lubricating. You won't have to strong
arm
the petcock open.

I should have them in a week. The price will be $4.00 including
postage.
