Hi All,
Anyone have a good tip on how to make reinstalling the rear brake shoes
a bit easier?

Cam and I used one of these gizmos:

I used to use a big notched screwdriver and vice grips.

I've seen these spring pliers in Pep Boys and other auto stores. Today,
I watched a guy install some front shoes on a '65 Harley on one of those
DIY ("Classic Rides") shows today. He just kind of folded the pair of
shoes over the cams with the springs attached. I don't remember it being
that easy when Dave and I did mine. We just muscled the shit out of the
springs with those pliers. You can definitely put an eye out!
