Carb related. Make sure no air leaks. Do you have the fibre spacers between
the manifold and the cylinder heads? Needs to be two of them.

By the way....my bikes tend to "sputter" a bit until they are nice and warm.
In my opinion the bikes are not "fully warm" after 3-4 minutes. What happens
to the bike after 15 minutes of riding? Be sure that they are "fully warmed
up" before making any assessments.

Wouldn't "missing" be too lean?

Interesting...

Subject: Another stab at it

Hi all. I am still troubleshooting my eldo, but haven't done anything in a
while due to lack of time, but I just realized what is happening. Before I
was thinking it was timing related, but I messed with it again today and
here it is:
When I first start it and the bike is cool it runs great. After 3 or 4
minutes once the bike reaches operating temperature it begins to sputter and
miss. This mostly happens on acceleration, but the bike will idle fine. If I
kill it and let it sit for 5 minutes, it will run smoothly again for a short
time until it heats back up, then the ame thing. This happens whether the
enrichener is applied or not (if it is on and the bike is warm, it just
makes things worse).
I have adjusted the valves several times in accordance with the chiltons
manual and have seen no change.
Any new suggestions?

Ted Ward
