After I painted my bags, I went back and rubbed them down with a Scotch Brite
pad and then clear-coated them. They looked really good and everyone thought
they were leather because of the texture of the paint. I also use it to paint
the inside of the fenders on all my bikes. Seems to hold up real good and it's
an inexpensive undercoating.
