Hey Todd,
Don't want to switch but once. We would like to run the heater on LP for the
rest of this winter. When the ground thaws, that's when we will be able to
dig our trench and run a gas line. From then on it would be run on natural
gas. We just want to get a move on this, If we have to wait we will lose
months of valuable garage time. I'm told it's just the gas inlet fitting
that would have to be swapped out.

Kev,

Switching back and forth from Natural to LP gas depending on season may be
difficult. I am no heating or cooling mechanic, but I do know the exit
orafices on gas burners vary according to the type of gas you burn. Be
careful, because of possibly being overcome with unburnt fumes or carbon
monocide. I would not recommend a heating system that used both gases. I
would stick to one and rely more on insulation to keep the costs down. Good
Luck.

Todd
