 I warned you all I would have some. Here is my first. On the right hand
grip there is a thumb switch marked A in one direction and C in the
other. I assume this is a manual choke? Could someone enlighten me on
its use? Which way is start, which way is run? Thanks.

I just remembered that the A/C flip lever for the enricheners has a
duplicate device available for the other side of the handlebar. That
one is labelled A and R. It is identical in form except it goes in the
opposite direction since it is on the other hand. It was used for old
Guzzi singles which hand manually controlled spark advance on their
magnetos. The labelling was for:
"A" = ANTICIPO (ann-TEA-chee-po) = anticipate or advance spark.
"R" = RITARDO (ree-TAR-doh) = retarded spark

My old Eldo had one of those. Same function. Pulling the cable opens
the enrichener.

Also, as to spark plugs for this bike. My Guzzis have all been
miraculously transformed with the Bosch Platinum WR7DP spark plug.
