Hi Patrick, Interesting story. My ambo still fouls out on the starboard
side, just sometimes. I may try these Boschs'. Thanks, Bob

And how transformed was your Guzzis with the Bosch P. plugs? I'm
running the typical NGK variety.

I was having terrible fuel fouling problems on a V50 Monza. Bike ran a
treat. But, if you couldn't get it to fire within about three
revolutions you were dead in the water. Had to pull and dry the plugs
before you could try again. Fought the problem a long time. It was
Regina's Monza and she threatened to divorce me or buy a Honda if I
didn't get it solved.

One day I was looking at my old V-1000 Convert. Had it about 5 years
from a previous owner. Never did anything to it. Beat it and trashed
it. Left it out in the weather. I was the most reliable starting and
running bike I have ever had. Worked under ANY conditions.

So, I pulled those old Convert plugs, inspected, and tried them in the
Monza. Bosch Platinum WR7DP. Monza never failed thereafter. No such
thing as a fuel fouled plug again. Never a failure to start unless I
was doing something else totally stupid.

I then bought the same plugs for my Eldorado. It instantly started
easier, idled smoother, and at a slightly higher rpm that I had to
adjust back down. I now run the same plugs in two EV's and an SPII as
well as the Monza.

If I have any sort of ignition problem I look at wires, carbs, etc long
before I even consider the plugs.

That enough "transformation" for you?
