I think I used 'wrinkle finish' spray can from Eastwood, however I
suppose any wrinkle finish paint bomb from an auto parts store would work.
The trick I used was to put it about 6" away from a floodlight to
warm it up overnight. Fun stuff to work with, goes on smooth but after a
while it starts to wrinkle up like 'nads in cold water.

| Let's try this again without prematurely hitting the enter key.. Someone drilled 4 holes in my Eldo's dash. Since this is some kind of pot or cast metal, welding is out. I will use JBweld to fix the holes. What kind of paint are you guys using to create the 'orange peel' texture. I know there are many paints out there that create a texture. Just wondering if any of these come close to the original.. Gunnar |
