I ride my Ambassador a lot and I don't have as much free time as I'd
like to fix, tinker, polish, or do all the little fun stuff. That being
said, I dislike chrome because it can go bad (rust, peel, etc.).
Aluminum, on the other hand, can nearly always be brought back to a nice
luster. In the end, I end up polishing my aluminum about once a year -
whether it needs it or not! In between, I just ride.
In the end, it comes down to personal preference and what you are will
to do/pay for.
