Andy,
Here's a few my friend Scott uses on his award winning Ducati singles. Cheers,

 Hi Charlie,

I have two chrome platers
that I use and although combined they are a pretty good bunch there are a
couple of issues I have with each of them. Here they are:

These guys do an excellent job with anything steel, but I wouldn't trust
them for plating of any soft metals such as brass or copper. I've already
had them polish away details on some scooter parts I sent them. Their
prices have always been reasonable except as of lately. I've noticed a 200%
increase in the same parts I had plated about 5 years ago.

This guy is incredible when it comes to chrome plating. He restored my
Silentium Muffler on my 175 Ducati and it is perfect! The only drawback is
he is expensive and it may take a while for you to get your stuff back from
him, but when it comes in, it is titties!!
