I'm working on my Ambo.

Engine and tranny are back in the frame. Still painting other parts and
waiting for some warm weather so I can do some assembly.

Wheels are all apart so I can polish rims and hubs and replace spokes and
true wheels. The project has been on hold due to finishing/selling other
projects and buying another bike.

Also some family issues (daughter getting separated) and moving her
belongings across a few states and back home into storage have taken-up
quite a ferw spare weekends. Weather and snow haven't helped either.

Hoping to get back on the Ambo soon!

I noticed a few of us doing a Ambo/Eldo project.

Just curious who is doing what?

And what have been your road blocks?

I am doing a 72-74 disc conversion, paint job, cleaning, new exhaust,
bearings here and there, rewiring, alt. conversion, wheels, minor engine
work and adding blinkers.

My biggest headache has been converting the Japanese left control to allow
for the lights on/off, turn signals & horn. I also want to add relays for
the hi/low headlght.
there is not much room in the headlight nacelle.

They look like Ramflows to me.

Thinking of participating here a little more. I'm currently doing up a '74
Eldo, have been enjoying lurking and reading your tips etc. This seems like
one of the nicer internet discussion areas these days.
