Normal. Oil is capable of migrating from the rear drive forward if the
shaft housing is aimed down from level. However, there is not much oil
in there to begin with. You should now drain all the oil and replace it
with the proper measured quantity (do not go by the level inspection
hole). Use 230cc of gear oil plus 20cc of Moly additiive.


 Also, if my intermediate clutch plate is bent is it easy to
tell? I am pretty sure it is fine and can't detect any
abnormality but don't want to put it back together unless I am

You need to inspect it against a VERY flat surface. If it is just
slightly bent, the heat of use will exacerbate or exaggerate the
problem. Heat causes greater warpage.
