Well just pulled my oil pump and looks like I'm better off than you were
John. Oil pump looks like it's brand spanking new, no pitting or even a hint
of a scratch! Guess next thing will be the crank and then cam to see how
they look. Isn't this fun....NOT

BTW, Be sure to check the oil pump for damage....mine was toast!
