John, Mike, Bill, & Gary,
Thanks for the input on the carb diaphragm, guys! I knew that the feedback from such a question would send me in the right direction. Out of curiosity, I am going to give the balloon and rubber cement trick a try. John, the tale and the site link you sent are the greatest! Anyone out there that fiddles with Honda's should check it out,....seems like the place to go for a vast amount of old Jap stuff. Maybe it's sac-religious, but I like fooling around with old Beemer's, Honda's, Triumph's, Gilera's, Suzuki's, and Ducati's as well as the one and only Moto Guzzi! (and there in, gentlemen, lies the difference between motorcycles and women,...ride a few different types, and the really good ones never seem to mind.....)
Thanks again for all the info!
Bill

Bill:
I think the silicon route will eventually give you grief. Take a look at
http://www.ohiocycle.com/
They ain't cheap, but they probably have what you need for your Honda.
I bought two Honda 360's once, along with a '71 Ambo, Laverda SF1, a
fold up Benelli mini bike and a snowblower for $750 once from a divorcee
cleaning out her garage. All were in terrible condition and partially
disassembled with lots of parts missing.
I restored the Ambo and Laverda, and sold the Hondas without doing a
thing to them a few years later for what I paid for everything in the
first place. Best deal I ever made, and it put me on the path to
enlightenment and Moto Guzzi. That's what got me started making tank and
fendertip decals since I wasn't able to find a source for the correct
ones for loopframes. Over the years I've sold enough decals to make lots
of people happy and actually pay for the restoration of the Ambo, which
makes me happy.

Sorry this isn't a Loop question, but with the amazing amounts of knowledge
here, I just can't resist. My son and I are rebuilding the carbs on his 1974
Honda CB360 and found a tiny tear in the rubber diaphragm, has anyone here ever
tried to use a little silicone to repair one of these? I have no idea where to
get a new one, so I'd like to repair this one, if possible. Any suggestions?
 Thanks,
Bill
