Matt,

Yeah, I am trying to remove the chrome part of the fork. I was thinking
of a strap wrench myself but I have low expectations that it will come
off. There is a lot of rust in there from moisture sitting.
I sprayed some WD40 in there and let it sit over night..

Did anyone ever attempt to take the front forks apart without using the
Fork collar tool?
