I think I skipped step 12, but I repeated step 16 twice, so all was good
in the end. Yes the clutch is fully aligned and ready to go. It is a
remarkably easy job.
Couple other notes-
*You can make a tool to hold the input hub from the old clutch plates.
I ground out the rivets from a clutch plate and bolted a handle on. I
also ground down a socket to use as a tool. Send me your address and
I'll loan them to you if you want.
*Really clean out the crankshaft before you put the new bolts in there,
so the locktite can do it's job.
*this is also a good opportunity to fix the two bolts at the bottom of
the rear main bearing if they are leaking. Also it's a good time to
jbweld the rear cam bearing plug if you feel so inclined.
*It helps to have an assistant when you are stabbing the clutch back
onto the engine. I put the driveshaft coupling on the tranny output,
put it in gear, and used that to wiggle the input hub into the new
clutch. Worked just fine and I didn't have to stick a screwdriver in
there.
BTW, if you are going to drink, please drink good beer.

 Bill,

The only thing you really need to pay attention to is the mark on the
crank
and the mark on the new flywheel. I just lined everything up with the
mark
on the tranny housing, removed old clutch and installed new Ram making
sure
to line the marks up. That was it, or you can follow my 37 step program
below. Beer drinking is NOT an option. :)
