I'll back up Tom here. I have two pair of Cruiserworks. They are my
regular footwear, not just for riding, although I ride almost every day.
I have ridden several 400-500 mile days in pouring rain and in one
Hurricane (Charlie. I made the mistake of riding from Gainesville to
Daytona to get away from the storm!) and two tornadoes in W. Va. Wet,
very wet campgrounds. Have even ventured into the river at Blue Ridge
M/C Campground with them on. They are everything they claim to be.
Absolutely waterproof and very comfortable.

I don't know about any "tests". They run about $225 and
are a quality product and a great group of people to deal
with.

Garbage bags and duct work great. :) Cheap too.

I'd like to buy a pair of waterproof riding boots when
riding season is
a bit closer. Any recommendations of a brand and model
that is really
waterproof? I read an old test where the only one that
was truly
waterproof was the Sidi GT Sympatex. But being "frugal",
I'd rather keep
wearing my Beiffe boots w/Treds overboots than spend
nearly $300. Or buy
the Gore-tex socks from REI the test mentioned. Looking
for something
that is more in the $150 range. Thanks!
