Hi Greg,

I assume you are referring to the single gauge, non-police dash. I've
not heard of differences between the V7 and early Ambo versions of
these.

I did take a quick run through my spare parts catalogs looking at the
various dashes. Here is what I came up with:

CIVILIAN DASHES:

1250 1500 - single gauge dash for V7 and early Ambo civilian models. Has
key hole and four holes for securing it to the top triple tree. (I
believe this is the one you are questioning)

1350 1500 - dual gauge dash for later Ambo and Eldo civilian models

POLICE DASHES:

1250 1540 - single gauge dash for V7 Police models. Has a key hole and
the mounting plate on the front for additional lights. Also has six
holes for mounting - 2 in the rear for attaching to the triple tree, 2
in the front for attaching to the triple tree, and 2 more inside these
front two for ????? No cut outs for the windshield brackets.

1350 1540 - single gauge dash for Eldo Police models. Has a key hole
(plugged) and the mounting plate on the front for additional lights.
Also has six holes for mounting - 2 in the rear for attaching to the
triple tree, 2 in the front for attaching to the triple tree, and 2 more
inside these front two for ????? Also has cut outs for the windshield
brackets.

1350 1541 - single gauge dash for Ambo and Eldo Police models. Has no
key hole, no mounting plate on the front, but does have holes for all
the indicator lights, etc. The one in my parts book does not show cut
outs for the windshield brackets.

Am I missing anything here? Does someone have a very early V7 parts book
they can check?

I had four of these together the other day. The ones from Ambassadors
seem different than the one on my V7. There's a taller platform to
support the speedo, maybe to space it up higher away from the top
triple tree? Anyone know anythng about this?

Thnx

GF
