What I did which worked like a charm was find a L shaped hex key or allen wrench whichever you call it that was small enough to fit between the flat part of the nut and the outer wall, but too big to slip past the corner of the nut. Then held the long part of the L and whacked a few times on the top with a rubber mallet, came right off.
Before that I spent a lot of time with no luck.

Subject: tranny input hub

I just spent the last hour trying in vain to get my old input hub off of my transmission....does this thing have left handed threads? If it does, I sure feel like an idiot now. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Bill
