I toothbrushed on a thin coat of bel-ray assembly lube on the eldo (I think it's pretty thick but it is 40*F in my shop (when the heat is on) figured it might help and if not there's really not enough to 'fling' anywhere. will report on what happens when I go back in.

I used that red BMW spline grease on my input hub when
I first put my Ambo back on the road. I took the
clutch apart when the clutch plate teath failed after
~15,000 or 20,000 miles. The grease was gone: dry as a
bone. When I put it together this time I used
anti-sieze, but have not been back in there to see how
it is holding up. I would recomend trying something
other then the BMW stuff.
