After only a small amount of cursing I managed to the get the front end
apart on my Eldo. It had/has the same clunking sound described by
another member here. I plan to put a couple 1/2" spacers made out of
PVC (1 1/2") to see if that helps.
For those that have done this- did you put the spacer at the top or the
bottom of the spring? I'm inclined to put it at the bottom in the 'cup'
of the spring housing.

Also- does anyone know what that fine thread size is on the upper fork
tube? I want to clean up the threads on the fork and the nut.
